Jose Garcia brings a diverse background in engineering and construction. Jose has managed hundreds of engineering and construction projects with experience in engineering and construction of gas and electric infrastructure. Jose has worked on the development and implementation of processes for construction and engineering of projects in the utility industry. He has also worked for the department of transportation and for the largest utility construction company in the bay area.
Jose co-founded Madera Apiaries in 2010 serving farmers in the state of California with crop pollination services.
Jose holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University Fresno.
Darren Murphy brings a wealth of experience in Civil Engineering and Construction from all over the world, having cut his teeth in construction with Semiton Ltd., the family construction business based in the Republic of Ireland. Darren started his career as a General Operative and Junior Quantity Surveyor, on large-scale commercial construction projects ranging from food processing plants to pharmaceutical factory construction. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Economics and Management from Limerick Institute of Technology, Ireland.
Darren has worked for major heavy civil construction companies in Northern California including: Ranger Pipelines, Preston Pipelines, and E2 Consulting Engineers. Darren has served as both project engineer and project manager for projects such as the Hetch-Hetchy Waterline a $65 million capital project for the SFPUC, the New Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and New Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, and overseeing over a $30 million yearly capital expenditure for PG&E Gas Transmission projects. Darren brings over 12 years of professional experience to Acudrone, Inc. having initially worked as a Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Administrator, Project Engineer, and now as a Project Manager.
Marco is a seasoned CPA with progressive experience in public accounting as an auditor, strengthened by a solid exposure to corporate accounting in a publicly traded company environment. Marco brings to Acudrone, Inc. over 10 years of experience in the accounting industry, where he has performed and supervised financial statement audits for entities ranging from development stage to $300+ million in revenue in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Marco has extensive knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles, and has developed a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, business objectives and utilized that knowledge on engagements. In the transition from public accounting to industry, Marco has gained a solid exposure to a public company's operations, general ledger, stock based compensation, corporate income taxes, and financial statement reporting processes, including the filing of quarterly and annual reporting financials with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
